Important Legal Information

For advising and arranging your mortgage, we may charge you a fee, which falls due on production of the mortgage offer. Our fees range typically between 0.20% – 0.50% % of the mortgage loan amount.

Where your mortgage needs are relatively straightforward, i.e. a purchase or remortgage with no additional borrowing then our fee will usually be 0.20% of the mortgage loan amount. For example, if you required a mortgage of £350,000 our fee would be £700.

If your circumstances and proposed loan requirements are complicated i.e. multiple income sources, income from investments, Limited Company Directors with complex accounting structures, requirement for Interest Only and unusual security, this can result in FOX Private Finance recommending a Private Bank. Typically, our fee in these circumstances is 0.50% of the loan size and on a loan of £500,000, this would be £2,500.

The actual fee will be disclosed and agreed prior to any formal application. This fee will be paid directly by you on production of the mortgage offer.

We may also receive a commission from the provider for placing that business, which the firm would retain. This amount will be confirmed by the lender in their disclosure document.
